Brunelleschi's Dome Multilingual Audio App

Listen to an exclusive audio guide application and enjoy views of the city from the top of the Cathedral.

The day before your visit, you’ll receive a WhatsApp message with clear instructions on how to download our included Mobile Audio Application to your device. Please remember to fully charge your phone and bring your own earphones to enjoy the experience to the fullest.

First, if you’re carrying a backpack, make sure to use the free luggage storage, as bags are not allowed inside during the visit.

Next, step inside the Dome and climb its 463 steps to reach the top. Take in the incredible egg-shaped structure, which was the largest of its kind in the world when it was built.

Along the way, listen to our unique audio guide, included and lovingly updated by our in-house Art Historian, to uncover fascinating stories and hidden details. Inside the Dome, admire the beautiful frescoes and stunning stained-glass windows, including the magnificent Last Judgment painted by Zuccari and Giorgio Vasari.

Finally, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over Florence and its surroundings from the very summit, a sight you’ll never forget!
