If you’re a nature and landscape lover, you simply can’t miss this private tour through the vineyards of Montalcino, discovering the essence of Brunello, one of the most famous wines in the world!

Departing from Florence, get ready for an unforgettable journey through the heart of Tuscany. After about an hour and a half of scenic driving through rolling hills, we’ll reach our first stop: Trequanda, a charming medieval village nestled in the Val di Chiana countryside.

As you stroll through its quiet streets, you’ll discover the Rocca di Trequanda, a well-preserved medieval fortress with Ghibelline battlements and an impressive semicircular tower. Just steps away stands the Church of Saints Peter and Andrew, featuring a stone-and-brick façade that reflects centuries of local religious architecture.

But the true highlight will be the wine: we’ll visit a renowned local farm, where you’ll have the chance to become a winemaker for a day. Learn the techniques behind crafting a Supertuscan, blend your own bottle, and even label it with your name, a unique and personal souvenir.

Next, we’ll head to Montalcino, world-famous for its prestigious Brunello wine. Beyond the wine, the town offers spectacular views over the Val d’Orcia and a rich historical heritage. You’ll visit the Montalcino Fortress, with its angular towers and scenic walkways, and explore the atmospheric Piazza del Popolo, the heart of the old town. Just a few kilometers away lies the stunning Abbey of Sant’Antimo, one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Tuscany.

We’ll end the day with a stop at a typical local winery, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour and a Brunello tasting, raising a glass to the true spirit of Tuscany.
