Visit the famous Baptistery and Museo dell'Opera del Duomo with our certified guide. Discover the Cathedral and all its paintings and climb Giotto's Bell Tower and Brunelleschi's Dome (if the option is selected)

With our Certified Guide you will have the opportunity to admire, inside, the stunning Byzantine mosaics of the vault while, outside, the masterpiece by Lorenzo Ghiberti, the east door of the Baptistery, commonly called 'the Gate of Paradise'. The final destination of the tour will take us to the museum of "Opera del Duomo" where you will admire up close works of high value from the artistic heritage of the religious complex; to be noted, along with others, "La Pietà" by Michelangelo. Enjoy a visit with a licensed guide to the most important buildings in the heart of Florence’s historic center: Baptistery and the Opera del Duomo Museum. 


With the same tickets used for the tour you can visit the cathedral on your own, Giotto Bell Tower, and Brunelleschi's Dome

    • Guided visit of the Duomo Cathedral, Bell Tower, and Brunelleschi's Dome
    Please note
      • Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour
      • A dress code is required to enter places of worship and select museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops are allowed. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
      • Luggage and large bags are not allowed inside the museum
      • IMPORTANT: Every first Tuesday of the month, the museum is closed; it will be replaced with a visit to the Santa Reparata crypt
      • The Brunelleschi Dome and Tower bell climb is not suitable for pregnant women, people with mobility problems, cardiovascular diseases, claustrophobia and vertigoes
      • The Baptistery is undergoing restoration of the mosaics of the vault, which are not visible
      • The Opera del Duomo Museum is closed every first Tuesday of the month
      • The Cathedral is closed on Sundays and religious holidays
