Immerse yourself in the heart of the Renaissance with an external visit to Palazzo Medici Riccardi, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture and the first grand residence of the powerful Medici family. We’ll then head to Piazza della Santissima Annunziata, considered one of the most harmonious squares in Florence. Here stands the Hospital of the Innocents, an orphanage designed by Filippo Brunelleschi and a prime example of early Renaissance architecture.

Our next stop is the Basilica of San Lorenzo, which we will admire from the outside. Closely tied to the Medici family, it showcases Brunelleschi’s refined architectural style.
